The GreenVetAfrica Project Team in Ghana Presents A Special Cake To The EU Ambassador During the 2023 EU Day Celebration in Ghana

It was all joy when the Ramseyer Vocational/Technical Institute, Kumasi – Ghana operating under the Presbyterian Relief Services and Development in the GreenVetAfrica Project had the opportunity to present a special Cake made for the Celebration of the EU Day 2023, Tuesday, May 9 2023.

The GreenVETAfrica Project, an Erasmus+ Project being funded by the European Commission was featured in the 2023 European Union Day Celebration held in Ghana’s capital, Accra. The project aims to promote sustainable waste management in Ghana and Nigeria, inspired by successful stories from Europe.

One of the Project’s key Partners in Ghana, the Ramseyer Vocational/Technical Institute was invited by the European Delegation in Ghana to showcase some of its products in line with the Green Waste Management concept also reflecting the EU’s Twin Transition concept of ‘Green and Digital’ in the current dispensation.

During the event, a special cake which was made for the occasion and was part of the products for the exhibition was afterwards presented to the EU Ambassador as part of the GreenVETAfrica’s efforts to promote the Project. The cake was presented by Mr. Anthony Sarkodie Amankwah (Team Lead) of the Ramseyer VTI/Presbyterian Relief Services and Development and Mr. Bismark Adom (Catering Exhibitor).

The EU Ambassador to Ghana was full of praise for the kind gesture and the efforts of the GreenVETAfrica Project.
