Demystifying Business Structures for Startups in the Waste Management and the Circular Economy

Dr. Norbert Edomah of the Pan-Atlantic University and a co-lead on the GreenVETAfrica project presented some of the key findings of the project at the Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre Waste Management Business Development Fellowship programme.

On Friday, 13th October 2023, Dr. Norbert Edomah presented some of the key findings and deliverables of the GreenVETAfrica project. The participants were thrilled about the prospects and learning that the project offers and are keenly following the progress of our work through our various dissemination platforms. In attendance were business owners and other active stakeholders in the waste management value chain in Nigeria.

The event, organized by the Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University was a Fellowship programme focused on Waste Management Business Development. The centre brings together theory and practice on sustainability, builds leadership skills and supports constructive dialogue and collaboration between business, government, civil society, and academics to find solutions to critical sustainability challenges. The centre is committed to equipping decision-makers and managers with the relevant skills to design and implement responsible and sustainable business strategies for impact in Nigeria and Africa.

This event is the first of many that form part of the strategic partnership between the GreenVETAfrica project and the Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre.
