Successful Accreditation of GreenVETAfrica Programme in Nigeria
We are thrilled to announce the successful accreditation of the GreenVETAfrica program by the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) and the completion of final assessments in Nigeria.
On September 26, 2024, 22 of the 50 participants who met the programme’s attendance criteria took their final exams at the Institute for Industrial Technology in Lagos. The assessment, conducted in two stages – theoretical and practical sessions on Green Waste Management – represents a significant step forward in their training. This achievement follows the successful accreditation of the GreenVETAfrica Vocational Training Program as a modular course on Technical Foundations for Waste Management by NABTEB a few weeks earlier, on September 8, 2024.
We owe this accomplishment to the unwavering support of our esteemed partners, Pan-Atlantic University, LAWMA, and the Institute for Industrial Technology in Nigeria, whose efforts have been instrumental in training the trainers and participants. We also recognise the invaluable contributions of Ramseyer Training Center and Whizzy Academy in Ghana.
Looking ahead, we eagerly anticipate celebrating the graduation of these hardworking participants on November 14, 2024 at the GreenVETAfrica final event in Lagos. Their journey represents a significant step toward a more sustainable and environmentally responsible future.
